2.1 – Summit SS8: thanks for the discussion about “What is Social Studies?”  No homework!

2.2 – Summit SS9: finish the Cell Phone package (questions 1-9, and the Between the Lines question on the back page).

2.4 – Summit SS10: find 2 adults and interview them about their experience on September 11, 2001.  What were they doing or where were they when it happened?  How did they react?  What were their feelings?  You may add your own reflections from your experiences, or after watching the documentary.

For 6.2, choose 2 of your own provincial parties to research along with the BC Green Party, the BC Liberals, and the BC NDP.  Start here.

For 5.4, choose 1 party of your own along with the “Big 3” parties.  For the 4 issues, choose what is most important to you or your family from the list of issues in 5.3.

For those of you wanting to visit your local candidate’s campaign offices to ask questions or to collect artifacts for your scrapbooks, check out this link for locations.  David Thompson is located right on the border of 2 electoral districts: Vancouver-Kensington and Vancouver-Fraserview.  You can (should) go to the offices of the candidates who live in your district (depending on where you live).  Here’s a link to a map of the area around DT.
